Accessibility Statement

Chavez & Mederos Clinic is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.

What we aim for

This site is built to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. In practice that means semantic markup, text alternatives for images, colour contrast that meets the required ratios, visible keyboard focus, labelled form fields, and no information conveyed by colour alone. Accessibility was built in during development rather than added afterwards, and we do not use an accessibility overlay plugin.

If something is not working

Accessibility is never finished, and we would rather hear about a problem than have someone quietly give up on the page. If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, tell us and we will fix it — and in the meantime we will give you the information you were looking for another way.

In the clinic

The suite is on the ground floor with step-free entry. Free aids and services for effective communication, including qualified sign language interpreters, are available at no cost — see our language assistance notice.
