Women's health in primary care
Women are more likely to be the person who books everyone else's appointments and last to book their own. This is the page for booking your own.
Service scope to be confirmed by the clinic before launch.
What we cover
- Annual wellness exams and preventive screening
- Breast and cervical cancer screening, with referrals for mammography arranged
- Bone health and osteoporosis risk
- Thyroid conditions, which are considerably more common in women
- Iron deficiency and anaemia
- Cardiovascular risk — still the leading cause of death in women, and still under-investigated
- Menopause symptoms and related concerns, and referral when specialist care is the right answer
- Urinary and pelvic symptoms, including pelvic ultrasound where indicated
- Mental health, sleep and stress
Where a concern belongs with a gynaecologist, obstetrician or another specialist, we say so and arrange the referral rather than stretching beyond what primary care should handle.
Common questions
Do you provide prenatal or obstetric care?
No. We are a primary care clinic. If you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy we will help you get established with an obstetric provider.
Can you order a mammogram?
Yes, we can order screening and arrange the referral.
Do you perform pelvic ultrasound?
We offer diagnostic ultrasound on site. Whether a specific study is appropriate depends on your symptoms — see the ultrasound page or call us.
