Same-day and walk-in care

Being ill is bad enough without a six-week wait. Call us in the morning and we will usually find you a time the same day. Walk in and we will fit you in when we can.

Reasons people come in the same day

  • Coughs, sore throats, sinus problems and chest congestion
  • Fever, flu-like illness, COVID symptoms
  • Urinary symptoms and suspected infections
  • Ear pain, eye irritation and pink eye
  • Skin infections, rashes, insect bites and minor wounds
  • Stomach upset, nausea, diarrhoea
  • Back pain, joint pain, sprains and minor injuries
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Blood pressure or blood sugar that has suddenly gone off
  • A medication problem or a side effect you need looked at now
  • A DOT physical between runs

You do not have to be an existing patient

New patients are welcome for same-day visits. Bring photo ID, your insurance card and a list of your medications. If you like the visit, you can make us your regular clinic — and many people do exactly that.

Common questions

Do I need an appointment?

No. Walk-ins are welcome during office hours and we will fit you in when we can. Calling ahead means less waiting, which is worth it if you are unwell.

What are your hours?

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.

Is this urgent care?

Not exactly. We are a primary care clinic that keeps same-day capacity, which means you get seen quickly by a provider who can also become your ongoing clinician — rather than by whoever is on shift.

What if you are closed?

Outside our hours, use an urgent care centre for minor problems, and the emergency department or 911 for anything serious.

Do you take my insurance for a same-day visit?

The same plans apply as for any other visit. See our insurance page.

This is not for emergencies

If you are having chest pain, difficulty breathing, sudden weakness or numbness, trouble speaking, severe bleeding, or any symptom that frightens you, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not use this website, and do not wait to see if it passes.
