If you drive for a living
A large share of our male patients are commercial drivers. Blood pressure, diabetes and sleep apnoea are the three conditions most likely to shorten a medical certificate — and all three are manageable with a primary care provider who knows the DOT standard. We have one on staff.
Common questions
I only came in for a DOT physical. Should I have a primary care provider too?
If your certificate was shortened to three, six or twelve months, then yes — that is the system telling you something needs managing. We can do both.
Do you do prostate screening?
We discuss PSA screening and can order it, and we offer prostate ultrasound on site where it is indicated.
Can you help with fatigue and low energy?
Yes, and it is worth investigating rather than guessing. Thyroid, anaemia, diabetes, sleep apnoea and depression all present this way.
